Amarillo Plastic Fabricators - Countertops

We all want the best and most appropriate kitchen countertops for our home, but not all countertop styles and fabrications are suitable for our needs. Whether you choose laminate, solid surface, quartz, or granite countertops for your kitchen, you are sure to find exactly the right countertop for your new or existing home at Amarillo Plastic Fabricators. We have all of the materials, styles, and price options that you could ever want. Let's look at each of the fabrication options that homeowners have to choose from, starting with laminate countertops.

Laminate Countertops

Laminate is a great option because it is our least expensive countertop options, however laminate is still able to produce a high quality look and boasts durability comparable to that of Solid Surface. Laminate Countertops are easily cleaned and maintained, in addition to being environmentally friendly, as Laminate is a paper product. Laminate is the perfect choice for a kitchen remodel or for an investment or rental property.

Postform or Roll Edge countertops using high-pressure laminate have always been an excellent choice for budget minded homeowners. The one-piece backsplash eliminates water problems and makes clean up quick, easy, and most importantly, sanitary. Choose from different front edge styles such as the ever popular bullnose combined with the new etched and honed laminate finish that imitates the look of stone. The three major laminate manufacturers we work with, Formica, Wilsonart, and Nevamarc, have an endless choice of colors and patterns that you can choose from.

Solid Surface Countertops

Another fabulous option is Solid Surface. Solid Surface countertops are smooth and seamless, in ways that only the  fabrication of Solid Surface allows for. No other option allows for your entire design to be bound together into one seamless piece.

Solid surface materials, including Corian, Hi-macs, and Livingstone, are an excellent choice for countertops and other high wear applications. The completely solid and homogeneous material allows stains and scratches to be sanded out at home, without the need for costly maintenance calls. Acrylic or Polyester Sheets are fused together and the edges and seams are sanded flat for an inconspicuous, almost nonexistent seam. Even an assortment of sinks can be fused into the sheet material for a one-piece look and feel. Different decorative edges can be applied to your Solid Surface countertop for a very unique, custom look. In our residential applications, Solid Surface Countertops boast a 10-year limited warranty.

Quartz Countertops

Quartz Countertops are constructed through the combination of natural quartz bonded together by polymers allowing it to be formed into the desired shapes. Quartz is natural and, due to its durability,  good for the environment, in addition to being amazingly resistant to marks, chemicals, food, and dirt. Countertops made of quartz are easily cleaned with soap and water and have decades of durability, if properly cared for. Nothing creates such wonderful looks and sleek textures as the classic styling of a quartz countertop.

Quartz is made from quarried stone that is reshaped under extreme heat and pressure with high-performance, stain-resistant polymers. Unlike ordinary quarried stone, natural quartz is nonporous and remains resistant to chemicals, scratches and stains without periodic resealing or polishing.

With Quartz you can have the natural beauty and strength of real stone, plus performance characteristics beyond that of granite.

Granite Countertops

Granite is the countertop surface and we all know and love.  Granite is a natural, durable and solid stone countertop that will last the test of time. Natural granite is already millions of years old, so you can be sure that it will last many years in your home as well. Granite is an igneous rock formed from magma, that can be found in many types of colors, ranging from dark reds to light blues, with colors varying throughout the world.

Each granite countertop slab is unique. Although multiple granite slabs may share a similar same color, their patterns will vary, from having a variance in veins, to differences in how light or dark it can get.  When choosing natural granite you can assure your countertop will be unique.
